Educational Qualification :
- B.Sc (Nursing)/Post Basia B.Sc. (Nursing) / with Integrated curriculum of Certificate course in Community Health (CCH) OR
- General Nurse and Midwifery (GNM) with successful completion of Certificate course in Community Health OR
- B.Sc. Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) / with successful completion of Certificate Health.
Age Limit :
- UR & EWS-42 years
- BC/MBC (M&FF) – 45 years
- UR F/EWS F – 45 yrs
- SC/ST (M&F) – 47 yrs
Salary :
- Rs. 25,000/- per month
Selection Process :
- Selection of the candidates in Bihar SHSB CHO Recruitment is purely based on marks obtained by the candidates in BSc (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)/GNM and availability of vacancy as per reservation roster.
Agreement
- The candidates who will be selected as Community Health Officer at the Health and Wellness Centres across the State have to sign an agreement on a 1000 rupee stamp that he/she will serve the DHS for a period of 18 months. Failing in doing so he/she must compensate the District Health Society (DHS) with a recoverable amount of 06 months or 1.50 Lakhs as a penalty.

- SC, ST Candidates : Rs. 250/-
- PH Candidates : Rs. 250/-
- All Female Category : Rs. 250/-
